Welcome to the Sonar Family – Truths Be Told

We are so proud to announce that Lindsay Mullan’s new podcast Truths Be Told is launching TODAY on The Sonar Network!

Second City Toronto alumnus and Canadian Comedy Award Nominee, Lindsay Mullan has a brand-new comedy podcast that puts you on the receiving end of some truly captivating true stories. Each episode has a different theme and with it a variety of firsthand accounts from some of Canada’s most dynamic performers and comedic minds.

“It’s the podcast equivalent of hearing a great story at a party. Or sitting around a campfire and hearing that terrifying tale your friend swears is true. Or listening to your best friend gush about their crush at a slumber party.” Says creator and host Lindsay Mullan. “The truth is always more interesting than fiction and it’s infinitely more relatable. Who doesn’t love a good story?”

Mullan is an actress, improvisor, comedienne, and Canadian Comedy Award nominee. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Lindsay has been performing on stage and in front of the camera for over a decade. Since 2011 Mullan has called Toronto home and has carved out a name for herself as a live comedic performer in shows such as Everything Is Great Again (Second City Mainstage Toronto), Come What Mayhem! (Second City Mainstage Toronto), and Blind Date (Thousand Islands Playhouse). Not to mention two children’s sketch comedy pilots (DisneyXD & YTV) and countless commercials. In addition to this Lindsay often performs and occasionally teaches at The Bad Dog Theatre Company and Comedy Bar. Truths Be Told aims to share stories and experiences of all kinds. From the hilarious to the heart-wrenching to the just plain strange. The show strives to be light and entertaining in tone while remaining unafraid of tackling serious subject matter from time to time.

The very first episode of Truths Be Told was released Monday, June 25th, 2018 and we were thrilled to see it featured on iTunes New and Noteworthy list and see it rise to Number 5 in the Canadian Comedy Charts on Apple Podcasts!
