Alice Rose
Alice Rose is a comedian and producer, and creator of the queer comedy franchise Comic Sans. Her shows have been part of JFL42, and she has performed at Comedy Bar, Absolute Comedy, and TO SketchFest. She is the host of the podcast, The Corona Shift, and has interviewed Greg Brown, Steev Letts, Courtney Gilmour, and Selena Vyle.
Alice has also been seen on CTV's "Your Morning", Netflix's "Designated Survivor", and the short film "Sonny Nites" (in production). She has also written for CBC Comedy, Black Sheep Comedy, and Saved By Sex Ed. She is currently writing a very gay short film about two awkward queers finding love during social isolation. Growing up in Northern Ontario, Alice has explored a range of artistic pursuits. She graduated with a performing arts major from Sudbury Secondary School. A former graphic designer, Alice has worked on a number of exciting design projects. She has also lived in Uganda where she performed a residency as an in house designer for "The East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Program". Alice studied Architecture at the University of Waterloo, an education she rarely puts into practice. Alice currently lives in Toronto with her girlfriend and their cute-in-an-ugly-way dog, Pancho
