Amy Jo Johnson is a proud dual US/Canadian citizen and a multifaceted talent within the industry. Amy Jo’s screenplay WHAT WE BECOME, a sexual thriller, made the 2022 Hollywood “Black List.” Her feature film, TAMMY’S ALWAYS DYING, starring Felicity Huffman, had its world premiere at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival and was released on Showtime in 2020. A graduate of the 2017 Canadian Film Centre’s director’s program, Amy Jo made her foray into TV directing on the CW's SUPERMAN AND LOIS season 2.
Before turning her attention towards writing and directing, the Cape Cod native worked for over 20 years as an accomplished actor, starring in popular television shows such as FELICITY, MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, and FLASHPOINT.
Amy Jo is also a musician with three albums under her belt. Her latest project, Still Here, is an EP about perseverance, and resiliency. Amy Jo’s other albums, Never Broken, The Trans-American Treatment and Imperfect, have been featured on various TV shows and are available on iTunes. They can also be heard on streaming radio stations such as Pandora, Google Play and Spotify.
