David Shore is an alumnus of The Second City Mainstage in Toronto. A thirteen-time Canadian Comedy Award Nominee and two-time winner, David is also the founder and host of the six-time CCA winner, Monkey Toast: The Improvised Talk Show, which was enjoying a 20-year run before the pandemic.
David's prowess as an interviewer on Monkey Toast lead to him being hired by Reader's Digest Canada to conduct celebrity interviews.
From 2010-2017, David lived in London, UK, where he founded and was Artistic Director of Monkey Toast UK. Aside from hosting monthly shows, Monkey Toast UK's training centre quickly grew into one of the largest and most respected improv training schools in Europe.
While living in the UK, David was a program consultant for BBC Online's interactive, improvised comedy show pilot. Back in Toronto, David produced two pilots for CBC Radio.
David hosted and produced The Panel Show Podcast from 2019-2020. When the pandemic started, he taught himself how to edit his podcasts by himself. David first learned how to hate editing audio on old reel to reel machines as a Radio & Television Arts student at Toronto Metropolitan University.
He currently lives in Toronto with his pet monkey, Marty.
