The Worst Podcast is back and it’s even worse.

Marianna Miniotis

Season 2 of The Worst Podcast launches March 3 — and once again, Alan Zweig refuses to ask anyone about their career highlights.

Instead, he asks about the worst thing they’ve ever done.

Produced by The Sonar Network in partnership with Canadaland, the show brings together comedians, creators, and cultural figures who join Alan to talk some s***.

This season features Andy Richter, Colin Mochrie, Kelsi Davies, Ned Fulmer, and Leah Rudick — all stepping into Alan’s conversational trap where he mostly just humiliates himself.

Season 1 was named one of the best podcasts of 2024 by Amazon Music, spotlighted by Vulture, praised by The Guardian, and featured in The Globe and Mail. Which only makes it funnier that the show is called The Worst. 😄

While Season 2 rolls out, Alan is also celebrating the release of his latest documentary, Love, Harold, from the National Film Board of Canada — now streaming in Canada on NFB.ca and available internationally on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. It’s been called one of his “most affecting works,” which is impressive considering how allergic he is to sentimentality. The film is available to stream as of April 13 on NFB.ca and the NFB Films App. Viewers outside Canada can rent or buy the film on Amazon Prime or Apple TV.

If you’re tired of celebrity culture, polished origin stories, and personal branding manifestos, The Worst is your antidote.

Season 2 drops March 3. Listen wherever you get your podcasts.
