D.J. Mausner is an award winning stand-up, sketch, and improv comedian. In 2017 they performed in both the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and JFL42 in Toronto, winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and appearing in the New Faces Characters Showcase, as well as co-headlining their own show.
Their 2019 solo sketch performance in the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival earned them a four N review, with NOW Magazine, and resulted in their addition to the Best of the Fest showcase.
In 2019, CBC named D.J. one of fifteen Canadian Comedians to Watch and NOW Magazine Toronto named them one of their Breakthrough Toronto Stage Artists of the Year.
D.J. has written for Gary and His Demons, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Baroness Von Sketch Show. In 2020 they were awarded a Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing, Variety or Sketch Comedy for their contributions to Baroness von Sketch Show.
