Erica Anderson is an actor and creator from Ottawa currently residing in Toronto. Her passion for performance was ignited as a young child as a classically trained singer and avid musical theatre fanatic. Erica is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and recipient of The Tullio Cedraschi Award for ‘The student who best represents the mission of NTS’. Erica has worked across Canada in Film, Television and Theatre. Her performance in the one-woman show GRACIE (The Great Canadian Theatre Company) by Governor General Award Winning Playwright Joan McLeod, garnered her nominations for Best Actress, (Prix Rideau Awards, Capital Critics Awards), and won Best Production (Capital Critics). You will be able to catch Erica next in Elza Kephart’s horror-comedy SLAXX as influencer-mogul Peyton Jules & starring in Lifetime’s Killer Prom. Other selected work includes; The Baroness Von Sketch Show (CBC), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Lo (or Dear Mr. Wells) (GCTC). When not acting Erica can be found producing and creating, with a passion for gritty, inclusive, storytelling with heart. Her latest short Dora, a feminist retelling of Pandora’s Box, is currently in pre-production. Erica can thank many podcasts for helping her through many days as an actor and is therefore very happy to make her podcast debut on Real Legitimate Actors.
