This week on The Novelizers

Mitra Jouhari is a comedian, writer, and performer who co-created and stars in the Adult Swim series Three Busy Debras. You’ve also seen her in The Big Sick, The Bear, Broad City, Search Party and more.

Eric Drysdale is a writer and comedian who has won TEN Emmys and a pair of Peabody Awards for his work on The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

Each season on The Novelizers, we take a beloved film, then get comedy writer (from SNL, The Simpsons, Colbert, and more) to turn it into a hilarious audiobook, narrated by comedians and actors. We also feature interviews with the people who (may or may not have) made the original film.

The Novelizers is hosted by Dave Hill, and produced by Stephen Levinson, with Graham Douglas, Cole Emoff, Kevin Carter, Christine Bullen, Dennis DiClaudio, and Rob Kutner. Music by Cole Emoff. Additional editing by Sunita Haberlein. Graphic design by Crystal Dennis. Theme song by Andrew Lin, performed by Knotts. Additional support by Elizabeth Taveras. Distributed by Cincinnati Public Radio.

The Novelizers is an AI-free podcast, written, narrated, edited, and scored entirely by human beings.
