This queen has survived the Werk Room, our personal online feud, and now is trying to survive against 99 other people. From RuPauls’ Drag Race S14 and All Stars Season 10 and now a contestant on FOX’s 99 to Beat, please welcome our THiRST TRAP OF THE WEEK, the diabolical baddie – It’s Daya Betty!

Daya Betty joins THiRSTY BOYS to talk about her time on the FOX competition series 99 to Beat, how she prepared to compete against 99 people, whether her Drag Race skills came in handy, and what it was really like stepping into a completely different kind of reality competition.

Then we get into the drama. We revisit our online feud, my original “Daya Bully” comments, the DragCon runway controversy, and the aftermath that resulted in a cancellation. We hash it out and get into the bigger question: who actually gets to critique drag queens and reality TV?

We discuss Daya’s personal transformation and evolution throughout the years, her drag journey and what it was like competing with Ginger Minj on All Stars. And she answers the age old question – are people scared to be TV villains?

Drama, 99 to Beat, Drag Race, and a little bit of accountability. 🍿

Stay THiRSTY!
